Predicted PREs/TREs


Note: This analysis was done on version 3.1 of the melanogaster genome. The PRE (hit) and gene coordinates given in the table can be expected to be wrong for version 3.2. For getting the 3.2 PRE positions, take the PRE sequences themselves and BLAST them against the 3.2 genome.

This is a table of all predicted PREs/TREs (hits) in the genome of Drosophila melanogaster. The hits are listed by score in descending order, the top ones thus being the strongest candidates. Each hit is given in one row which comprises the hit's cytological position, the chromosome arm it was found on, the genomic start and end positions, a link to the sequence itself, the score, the E-value, the direction of the closest gene (upstream, downstream or overlapping), the distance to this gene in bases (0 for overlapping genes), the name and Flybase identifier of this gene, and the genomic start and end positions of this gene.

In three cases, the closest gene was replaced by one for which there is evidence that it is regulated by the PRE/TRE in question (bxd, Antp, Fab-7).

The E-values are given as E-value classes (0.05, 0.1 and 1.0). A given class means that the actual E-value is equal or smaller.
